Frank Glatzl, President |
Frank Glatzl is currently the production manager at Detail Mold and Manufacturing, Georgetown, TX. We make molds for the plastic injection molding industry. We also make plastic parts for customers who choose to have us run the mold that they had us build. Prior to that, I spent 30yrs at 3M in various rolls including tool and die maker, shop manager, and design and engineering services. In the middle of that, I spent 4 years at Accurail – HO scale freight car manufacturer – as their tool maker. I have been a member of RPI since around 2010, NARCOA member since 2001 and a certified NARCOA excursion coordinator since 2013. I have been interested in railroading since I was old enough to walk and talk! Hobbies include railroad photography, model railroading, metal fab/machining. I currently serve on the board of directors and as the president of RPI. |

John Pattison has been employed by The National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) since January 1999 as a Passenger Locomotive Engineer, based out of San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Amtrak he began his railroad career with the Railtex Companies as a Locomotive Engineer in 1987. With Railtex Mr.Pattison became a Designated Supervisor of Locomotive Engineers under the FRA Locomotive Engineer licensing part 240 in 1991,serving in that capacity until joining Amtrak. In addition he was on the Railtex "Go Team" that would travel to any location and assist with new property start up and training of permanent transportation staff. For two years he served as Superintendent of Operations at the Dallas Garland Northeastern Railroad from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Pattison was a certified Operation Lifesaver presenter from 1990 thru 1996 in California and South Carolina,giving numerous presentations as well as staging two separate rail crossing demonstration accidents for OL and local first response training. Mr. Pattison is a founding member and Director of Railroad Partners, Inc. |

Edward Michal is an Enrolled Agent, having passed a rigorous Internal Revenue Service examination to demonstrate his capability to effectively represent taxpayers before the IRS. He is the owner of Delta Tax Service, a business foundedin 2003 in Dripping Springs, Texas, where he also resides. Heis a certified Operation Lifesaver presenter and has presented to four audiences since becoming certified in November 2008.Mr. Michal is one of the founders of Railroad Partners, Inc.,and currently serves as a Director and as Treasurer, as well as its representative to the Grassroots Rail Outreach Working (GROW) Group in Austin, TX. He has volunteered to assist with railroad safety activities conducted as Capital Metro inaugurates its new Metrorail commuter service in Austin on March 30, 2009.He speaks Spanish fluently, having served in Latin America several times during his prior 28-year career as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. Mr. Michal holds a B.A. from the Univ. of Colorado and an M.A. from the Univ. of Hawaii. |

Myron Malone is a Senior Service Specialist in the building automation and air conditioning control industry. Schneider Electric has employed him for over twenty-five years installing, servicing and maintaining energy management systems for industrial and commercial office buildings. He is a Certified Energy Manager as designated by the Association of Energy Engineers and has been in the energymanagement field for 30 years. Mr. Malone is a founding memberof Railroad Partners, Inc. and is currently serving as a Director and as Secretary for the organization. For over 35 years Mr.Malone has studied the history of railroads and documented the changing railroad scene through photography. Through ownership of the web site www.txrrhistory.com Mr. Malone shares his historical knowledge of interlocked railroad crossings in the state of Texas. In recent years he has joined the North American Rail Car Operators Association and participates in railroad motorcar excursions with one operational motorcar while he restores two additional motorcars.He is a certified Event Coordinator with NARCOA. |

Leland Stewart, Past President |
Leland Stewart is Senior Manager of Quality Systems for Mueller & Wilson, Inc., in San Antonio, Texas. In that capacity, he manages quality assurance inspection, auditing, and administration; coordinates employee training and safety activities; and implements actions to comply with environmental regulatory requirements. He has served as Quality Assurance Manager of an AAR-certified railroad facility (MK Rail Corporation of Boise, Idaho). He is General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR)-tested and has a North American Railcar Operators Association (NARCOA) Excursion Coordinator certification. He recently completed a 30 hr OSHA Construction Safety and Health course. Mr. Stewart is the immediate past Presidentof the Texas Rail Tourism Alliance (TRTA), from which he stepped down in November 2008 to become President and a Director of Railroad Partners, Inc. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard andattended San Antonio College, San Antonio, Texas. Leland also serves as NARCOA Area 9 Director. (CO, KS, MO, MN, OK, TX, UT) |
